At Artera, we understand the challenges related to managing corporate emails, and we know how important it is to optimize space, improve efficiency, and ensure communication security. This is why we are excited to introduce ATLAS, the new Cloud email archiver, an advanced solution designed exclusively for our partners.

Atlas is an application that allows you to archive all corporate emails, making them accessible, secure, and searchable in an advanced way for all users, while simultaneously freeing up web space on the hosting service.

Fully integrated with Artera’s email services, ATLAS can also be configured and used with any other email service with IMAP access.

How it works

ATLAS connects to the active email service on a domain, via IMAP access. Without the need for additional configurations, the system automatically creates a user for each active email mailbox, using the password of the same mailbox.

Each email, sent or received, is automatically copied to a dedicated and independent server and optimally indexed via Elasticsearch, ensuring fast and comprehensive access to all corporate communications.

By accessing ATLAS, each user will always have their entire email archive available, easily viewable in .eml format, making it simple and immediate to search for any information.

Administration

With the activation of ATLAS, the company can create its own multi-user profile with hierarchical structures, designed to meet its specific needs.

It will be possible, in particular, to activate one or more administrator users who, thanks to dedicated access, can:

  • Create user groups;
  • Define access policies, allowing groups or individual users to access specific email mailboxes (such as info@domain.ch or amministrazione@domain.ch).

User Access

The end user will be able to access the ATLAS portal, featuring a simple and intuitive interface, using their email as the username and the corresponding password.

Here, they will be able to search through their emails (and those they have access to) using a combination of filters such as:

  • Subject;
  • Message content (“body”);
  • Date or time range;
  • Recipient;
  • Attachments.


Finally, by clicking on the “open” button, the user will be able to download the searched email locally in “.eml” format.

Versions

Atlas is available in two versions:

  • Single domain, ideal for a single company, allows you to purchase the service based on the storage space needed for the complete email archive, in 100 GB blocks;
  • Multitenant server, a scalable solution that allows managing multiple domains for various clients with a single centralized platform.
